Cozy Mystery

Mid-Summer’s Night Theme

Well, the theme for this mid-summer night is writing! It’s not that I haven’t been writing, I have, but just barely. There are just so many fun things to do when the weather is nice. I’ve been kayaking, hiking, and watering, and watering, and watering, my plants. I literally have 3 planters to water, you wouldn’t think it would take any time, but we just can’t seem to get any rain in our neck of the woods.

Putting together the outline of a book is always the slowest part for me. I usually have a grand/broad idea of what’s going to happen but of course, that skeleton of an idea needs some flesh on its bones. Then it’s time to research. Then more research. Then, research some more. I just finished the last bullet point in my outline, so now the fun part can begin. I can actually start writing what everyone is going to do and say.

I think Hoax for the Holidays will be satisfying for anyone who has come to love Vivi and the gang and will launch Vivi into a new chapter (ha ha) of her life as well. The plan is for this Christmas edition to go live by mid-Autumn. I know you’ll enjoy a romp through the snow with Vivi, Hitch, Ezzie, Mavis, and the other characters.

So pray for rain, we need it. And it keeps me inside writing.

Crime in the Catacombs is out!

Hey everyone,

I think you will enjoy Halloween at the shelter and a fun romp through the cave systems of St. Paul. Vivi, Mavis, and Ezzie meet some great characters, a few old friends make an appearance, and there are a handful of fun surprises.

Check out Amazon for your copy

Everyone at the shelter was gearing up for Halloween. Hitch and Vivi could finally date like normal adults, and Vivi’s father was set to come home in a few weeks. So, who would have thought that chaperoning a youth event at a haunted cave would put a person in the crosshairs of a bad-tempered detective, and ruin a perfect October? Vivi sure didn’t when she agreed to go on the Halloween outing. Hitch seemed less surprised.

Detective Elsbach seems determined to make Vivi a prime suspect in his latest murder case. Vivi isn’t too worried about it, because the good news is, she only met the victim thirty minutes before he died, and even the irritable detective can’t come up with a plausible motive for her wanting him dead. The bad news is, if Elsbach can’t hang the murder on Vivi, he seems resolved to railroad Ty as the next viable suspect.

Vivi, Ezzie, and Mavis are determined to protect Ty at all costs. But can they find out who is responsible without making Vivi look more guilty, and if they can, will they be able to convince the surly detective to look at someone else?

Have You Tried A Vivianna Luxe Mystery?

Vivianna Luxe was living a perfectly happy life going to galas, fundraisers, and soirees. Then in the middle of a spa day, her world came crashing down when she found out her dad slipped out of her life in the middle of the night and their fortune was gone. She packed up as much of her life as would fit into two moving trucks and hid out on the other side of the tracks. When a nosy, and disconcertingly handsome, pastor overheard her tell her best friend she was sleeping in her storage unit, he offered Vivi a job as House Mother at the homeless shelter operated by his church. Vivi excepted the job because of the perks which included free food and a free room at the mansion that was being used as a family shelter. It couldn’t have been more perfect until dead guys started piling up. All Vivi wants is to figure out who is framing her dad so she can get back to being filthy rich like a normal person, but fate and endless mysteries seem to get in the way.
